BES Separate Inbox Workaround:
 It is a common complaint that all your messages get dumped under Messages - especially among BES users.
Each BIS email address gets its own icon, but there are no icons for just BES email or SMS and MMS Messages.

Here's the workaround I use to view only my BES emails:
  1. From the main screen go into Messages
  2. Click the Wheel/Menu button and select Search
  3. Scroll down to the Services: line and hit [Alt] to bring up the list of Message Services available and select Desktop
  4. Click the Wheel/Menu button and select Save
  5. In the Title field, enter a name for the search like BES. This will appear at the top of the messages list when the search is finished
  6. Scroll down to the Shortcut Key (Alt +) line and enter the letter you want to use in combination with the [Alt] key to invoke the search - for example b in this case. If you try to use a key that's already in use you'll get a warning message and can try another
  7. Click the Wheel/Menu button and select Save
Now when you're in Messages and want to see only your BES email, simply hold down the [Alt] key and hit b. The search will begin and only your BES email will be displayed.

Call Phone Numbers W. Letters (e.g. 1800-EXPEDIA):
To make phone calls to companies that have letters in there phone number can be annoying on keyboard devices because they don't have the letters on the number keys. So when you want to dial a letter just hold down the 'ALT' key while typing the letters.

Stop 'Delivered:' Messages:
 To stop those damn annoying messages that come back to you saying 'Delivered:' every time you send an email do this:
1. Open Messages
2. Menu>Options
3. E-Mail Settings
4. Confirm Delivery: No
(if you have more than one email address, you have to do it for all of them)

Stop LED Flashing:
 To stop the annoying LED flashing do the following:
Part A:
1. Settings
2. Screen/Keyboard
3. LED Coverage Indicator: Off
Part B:
1. Profiles
2. Advanced
3. Click 'Edit' on your profile
4. Open each item and set the 'Repeat Notification' to 'None' for in holster and out of holster.
(make sure to do it for all messages and texts)

Reboot:
 To reboot your mobile device without taking out the battery just hold down Alt+Ctrl+Delete at the same time, just like on a computer.
