Convert Video To iPod Format

Convert Your Video To iPod Format:

Step 1:

Click on Convert (1) and click Transcode New Video (2). Then locate the file that you ripped using DVD Decrypter previously and click Open (or locate the file on your computer you already have, like MPEG or AVI, etc).

Step 2:

Quality Profile: must read this exactly!!!!

MPEG-4/320x240/768kbps stereo/128kbps

NOT!!! h.264/320x240/768kbps stereo/128kbps

If you want this to be your permanent setting which you do than go to settings on the right and make it the default for 1 click converting, also make sure you make the output folder wherever you want the file to go.

Step 3:

Once video is loaded into the program, change the Title to what you want the video title to be (3) and then press Start to begin (4).

Step 4:

Once the transcode is complete, your video is ready to be moved to your device. The finished file will be located in the Output Videos to: folder specified in the Setup seciton. Simply copy the file using Windows Explorer to your device, or if your device is an iPod, import the video into iTunes.

Finished.

The good thing about this converter is it can have a queued list my recommendation is rip 2-3 DVD's then let them convert overnight.

The one click converter is easier because you can highlight a bunch of files at one time to convert so thats good if you downloaded a bunch of videos from LimeWire but DO NOT use one click for the ripped DVD's because all the filenames for the DVD's are the same so your files will just overwrite each other so for the DVD's click 'Transcode New Video' and then name the video (do that for each DVD separately don't use One Click Converter for that)!!!!
